Lake Pedder
From Envirowiki
Lake Pedder was a natural lake in south western Tasmania, which was dammed for hydroelectricity, largely destroying the lake's unique ecosystem. The damming was strongly protested by the public, after the Tasmanian government revoked the lake's national park status.[edit] 1 A brief history
