The We campaign aims to draw attention to the climate crisis, especially by using television advertising. The Campaign is partly run and funded by Al Gore.
One of the demands of the campaign is 100% renewable energy in the next 10 years (by ~2018). The demand does include biomass (though not biofuel), and existing nuclear, and "coal and natural gas power if they are able to capture the carbon"[1]. Even with all that ambiguity, the demand is far beyond the demands of any of the peak groups in australia or globally, who often call for much much lower targets in order to appear more reasonable.
